The 2000 Mile Trial

The Millennium will be a special time for celebrations, but none will be so unique as driving to the Arctic Circle in time to join the midsummer 2000 celebrations in the land of the Midnight Sun.

Hundred years ago, in 1900, the original 1000 Mile Trial was organised, the first car rally in the British Isles. To clebrate the Millenium, there will be a second running of this historic event, this time 2000 miles to the Arctic.

However, as well as having the opportunity of celebrating the Millennium Midsummer in 24 hours of daylight, competitors in this unique event will benefit from a stunning route that will give them a drive of a lifetime in this rarely visited part of the world.
